Everyone talks about Product-Market Fit. Few can define it clearly.

Most descriptions sound like something out of a fortune cookie, “when you’ve built something people want.”

That’s not useful.

Here’s a better way to think about it:

👉 Product-Market Fit is when you can consistently find, sell, serve, and retain customers.

Break it into two halves:

  1. Go-to-Market Fit • Can you reliably reach your ideal customers? • Can you close them consistently?

  2. Problem-Solution Fit • Can you deliver real value every time? • Can you keep them engaged and growing?

It’s not about one viral launch or a handful of happy users.

It’s about repeatability, a system that works again and again, even when you’re not in the room.

When those four things click, find, sell, serve, retain, that’s when you’ve got true Product-Market Fit.

Everything else is just noise.
